Being Heard

Being Heard is Thera’s way of empowering and supporting people to say how they feel. Being Heard makes sure you understand you have the right to be listened to.

Being Heard is one of the ways you can have your voice heard at Thera. Being Heard wants to make sure that:

  • You understand you have the right to be listened to.
  • You and your support staff know about advocacy services.
  • Your support staff know how to support you to be listened to.
  • You are supported to be a Company Member if you want to be one.

Your Service Quality Director, Helena Frewin, is responsible for running Being Heard.

Helena organises a number of Being Heard meetings in each county for people to come along and have their say. She also organises Being Heard events. These events give people the opportunity to come together, meet new people and have a good time. Find out when the next Being Heard meetings are.
