Short Breaks (Part One) – 25 Ways Thera has made an Impact

In the first of this two-part blog, we talk about the importance of short breaks in developing people’s skills so they can move into a home of their own.
Ansar Projects became part of Thera Group in March 2016. We believe it is important that each person is supported to live their best life.
We have built up an excellent reputation in the Bury and surrounding areas working with young people who have a Learning Disability.
Ansar Projects is particularly experienced in supporting young people who are coming out of education and beginning their journey into adulthood.
We can promote this through our Community Support teams or individualised short breaks when people are wanting to stay in the family home.
For people who are ready for some independence, we can assist with Supported Living and finding a home of their own.
We are always happy to take enquiries and offer help and advice where we can.
