August is festival season in Edinburgh, and Gig Buddies always make the most of it. Here's what we got up to at the 2023 Edinburgh Festivals.

Gig Buddies with Thera Trust have attended multiple events over the last few months and now they are reflecting on their Summer as they head into Autumn.

Gig Buddies with Thera and Stay Up Late Scotland were invited to come along to the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Learning Disability Group Conference on Friday 7th October

Gig Buddies with Thera Trust supports adults with a learning disability to live an active social life. Colin recently got 2 tickets to see his favourite band, James, and The Royal Highland Centre. 

Gig Buddies with Thera Trust supports adults with a learning disability to live an active social life. Michael, a Gig Bud volunteer, recently buddied up with Edinburgh members Colin and Jamie to get out to 2 shows at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre. Michael kindly sent us this lovely message after the shows.

After a quiet start to the year, gigs came back to Scotland at the end of January, and in the first week of February we were excited to get out to Independent Venue Week 2022.

On Saturday 5th March our friends at Purple Orange in Bathgate held a Singalong gig for local artists and Gig Buddies West Lothian

On Friday 21st January Gig Buddies with Thera attended the Stay Up Late Scotland Ambassador Day on Zoom.
