On Friday 10th December Gig Buddies with Thera Trust headed to Bathgate, to Purple Orange Arts Venue. Scott and Mike organised a fantastic fundraiser for Gig Buddies West Lothian. They signed up a whole line up of local artists and collected raffle donations from many individuals and organisations for a fundraising raffle. All door and raffle proceeds went to Gig Buddies with Thera.
“When Scott and Mike offered to run a fundraiser for us, I had no idea how much support we would receive from the local community. The raffle prize donations were so generous. It’s been lovely to see so many local artists and people coming forward to support us. They raised an amazing £160 for us, we really do feel the love!”
-Debbie, Gig Buddies West Lothian Project Coordinator
Everyone had a great night, there was a perfect mix of covers and original music from so many artists, and catching up with friends, old and new!
“It was great to have an opportunity to get to an independent venue I’d never been to before, and great to finally get to West Lothian with a Glasgow member! The night had a really friendly and joyful vibe and the tunes were great too”
-Molly, Gig Buddies Glasgow Project Coordinator

“It was such a great night, everybody was so lovely and supportive. I’m definitely going back there, it’s a great venue, it’s not too crowded or too big. You can get a seat and the bars right there. It’s good they are raising money for gig buddies, that’s a great thing! I loved the music, my favourite was Jos and a side of Nic. They were lovely”
-Joseph
As always, we had such a great time we can’t wait to get back to Purple Orange.
‘It’s incredible to see a venue giving so much love to it’s local Gig Buddies project. We can’t thank Scott and Mike enough, and of course the same goes for all the fantastic musicians. See you at the next one!’
