Guidance on Tier 4
In an area which has a Tier 4 Alert Level, the infection rates are rising and this is why tighter restrictions are in place to help stop the spread of the virus.
People in Tier 4 must remain at home except for the following reasons:
Work, if this can’t be done at home
Essential Shopping
Education
To see your children with whom you do not live
To exercise outdoors with one other person
Medical necessity
To meet, in an outside public place, with one other person – with social distancing
As part of Tier 4 guidance, people who are classed as clinically extremely vulnerable are advised to shield and not to go into work. For further information, click here.
